Whyteleafe's latest signing scored on his debut as his new team mates picked up four points from a possible six in the Kent League Premier Division - but it was not all good for the new man.

Marlon Wallen hit Leafe's second goal in their 3-2 win at Woodstock Sports on Saturday, adding to Jay Garrick's brace.

However, former Tooting & Mitcham man Wallen was left disappointed after a 1-1 draw at Greenwich Borough, which will be remembered for two penalty misses from Leafe.

Paul Scott eased Whyteleafe ahead in the first half and he had a chance to extend that lead in the second half when he was brought down in the penalty area.

However, the Greenwich keeper Luke Roberts saved the spot kick to deny Scott a second goal.

Two minutes later, Leafe were awarded a second penalty after another foul on Scott - this time Wallen stepped up to the plate, but again Roberts was equal to the task.

Greenwich equalised on 72 minutes, but there was still time for Leafe's Garrick to hit the woodwork twice.

At the final whistle, Leafe were left to rue the missed chances and they are now 10 points behind the unbeaten leaders VCD Athletic.
