Two members of London Warriors have taken grand champion awards for 2009.

At the CIMAC awards ceremony, Liz Ferioli took the top award for the women’s U64kg category, while Terri Smith was top in the young women’s over 60kg section.

The fighters, both coached by Tony Francis, emerged at the top of the standings from the nine CIMAC Superleague awards during the course of the year and both have been inducted into the CIMAC Superleague hall of fame.
