Hampton & Richmond Borough are offering a new idea for the Christmas present for the person who has everything, a season ticket for the remainder of the season, starting with the Boxing Day derby against Staines Town.
The ticket will cover at least the final 10 home league games of the season, although this could rise to 12 with the rearranged dates for the games against Bath City and Havant & Waterlooville still to be confirmed.
Application forms can be downloaded from the club’s website hamptonfc.net or will be available from the club shop for Saturday’s games.
The prices have been confirmed as
ADULTS £80
CONCESSIONS £40
STUDENTS & TEENS (13-16’s) £30
JUNIOR BEAVERS £20
Junior Beavers will also receive a Junior Beaver membership pack, including T-shirt and baseball cap, and adults, concessions, students and teens will also receive a voucher pack with more than £100 worth of savings available.
This Saturday, Hampton take on Concord Rangers in the FA Trophy third qualifying round, a tournament that has not been a happy hunting ground for the Beavers in recent years.
Hampton return to action after a two-week break following the postponement of last weekend's game against Havant & Waterlooville.
However, with no suspensions hanging over the side and the return of Stuart Lake following work commitments, Alan Devonshire has a full squad to choose from, bar the cup-tied Dave Tarpey and Francis Quarm, who is on track to return to the side shortly after the Christmas fixtures.
The Beavers have a poor record in the FA Trophy, with only one victory in the past eight attempts, that a 5-3 win over Hitchin during Hampton’s Ryman Championship season.
Victors over the club in the past seven years have included Newport (IOW), Arlesey Town and last season Bury Town, all of these at Beveree.
Hampton’s best run in the tournament was eight years ago when they made it to the fourth round and a tie at then-Conference club Hereford United, in a game which was postponed twice, before Hereford finally won on a cold Tuesday night by a 4-1 scoreline.
Rafael Nade scored Hampton’s only goal and Darren Deegan suffered a broken leg.
The visitors hail from Canvey Island and are in their second season in the Ryman League Division One North following promotion from the Essex Senior League.
To get this far, they have won twice as many games as Hampton in the past seven years, defeating Chatham Town 4-1 and VCD Athletic 1-0 in the last round.
They sit in seventh place in their league, although with games in hand on those around them and have only tasted defeat on three occasions.
Leading the way is young striker Lyle Taylor, who has scored a very impressive 17 goals in 19 games, with eight of those coming in cup competitions.
A side who can always score goals, they have hit seven against Harlow and five at Romford, but came unstuck at league new boys Lowestoft Town at the start of the season, losing 5-0 in Norfolk.
Their past two games have seen defeats at home to Leyton and at Romford.
Should the game finish all-square, a replay will take place at Concord Rangers on Tuesday night.
A coach will be running and supporters can book their place via the forum.
