British number one Andy Murray is predicting a shock Davis Cup call-up for Wimbledon's Ross Hutchins when John Lloyd names his newlook squad for February's trip to Argentina, writes Toby Davis.
Newly promoted Britain have not won a World Group tie since defeating Spain in 1986, and skipper Lloyd is sure to rely heavily on Murray, who is the only player in the British team ranked in the world's top 100.
But the young Scot has called on Lloyd to combat Argentina's big guns David Nalbandian, Guillermo Canas and Juan Ignacio Chela by opting for Hutchins in the crucial Saturday doubles.
The 22-year-old joined forces with fellow Brit James Auckland earlier this year and the duo instantly found the winning formula, landing the Istanbul Challenger title in August, which has helped Hutchins climb to 89th in the world.
