Carshalton Athletic striker Tommy Bradford says the team has to move on quickly from their FA Cup nightmare.

The Robins crashed out 5-0 at Colston Avenue to East Thurrock United, who ply their trade in the Ryman Premier League.

Bradford said there is no time to dwell on Saturday's defeat as the club faces three important games over the next week.

"We tried to stretch the game early on, but they frustrated and punished us by being clinical in front of goal, which was the main difference in my eyes," Bradford said.

"We played better in the second half and created some chances, but the damage had already been done and they caught us twice more on the break."

Carshalton have upcoming Ryman Division One South games against fourth placed Molesley tonight (Mondaym kick off 7.45pm) and struggling East Grinstead United next Tuesday, with an FA Trophy tie against Leighton Town sandwiched inbetween.

Bradford believes three good results will help put the FA Cup defeat firmly behind them.

"We have got to pick ourselves up starting Monday as a win against Molesley would get everyone buzzing again," he added.

"Our last three league games have proved we are good enough to dominate teams and score goals, but we must now start turning that into points by playing well for a whole 90 minutes."
