Kingston & Polytechnic Harrier Phoebe Law fell just three seconds short of adding junior English cross country champion to her growing list of accolades.

The 18-year-old junior Great Britain international clocked 22 minutes 51 seconds to finish second in the junior women’s race as the English Cross Country Championships at Parliament Hill.

She was pipped to the crown by Team GB team mate Bedford & County Athletics Club’s Rebecca Murray, who won with a time of 22:48 to claim gold.
