The Moody Cows internationals were far from moody after winning the inaugural Women's London Floodlit 7s at Rosslyn Park last night [Thursday].
A strong field included a Finnish national team as well as representatives from Premiership outfit Wasps and Saracens.
Unfortunately for the hosts, the Slingback Park team lost both their pool games to Moody Cows (61-0) and Finland (43-0).
Pool A winners were Moody Cows, Saracens won pool B and Wasps won pool C, with Finland going through as the best runner up.
The deserved winners were the Moody Cows who beat Saracens 31-7 to take home a trophy and £300 prize money, which they will donate to Macmillan Cancer Relief.
A thank you to the sponsors Michael Page International and Martin Brooks Associates.
