Kingston AC & Polytechnic athlete Phoebe Law turned bronze in to gold at the Surrey Cross Country Championships on Saturday.
 

The 16-year-old clocked 22 minutes 48 seconds to win the U17 girls race in Dorking – 12 months after finishing third in the same event in Croydon.
 

Clubmate Joshua Hall claimed silver in the U15 boys event in 15:32, while Darcy Bourne finished fourth in the U13 girls race.
 

Kingston AC & Polytechnic’s Molly Renfer (33:18) was fourth in the senior women’s race, while James Robertson (48:18) was the club’s leading man as he finished 49th in the men’s event.
 

Stragglers’ Matthew Kossatz clocked 10:56 to win the U13 boys race.
 

Walton Athletics Club runner Andrew Crooks was his club’s first finisher in the senior men’s race, coming home 30th out of 247 competitors in 46:48.
 

Nikki Nicholson clocked 38:12 to finished 37th in the senior women’s race for Elmbridge Road Runners, while clubmate Jay Hadfield finished 44th in 38:46.
