Croydon Harriers' men's team won team gold at the annual Holly Run at Reigate for the first time in more than a decade.

Peter Chambers topped the standings at Priory Park, completing the undulating six-mile course in 31 mintues 53 seconds, more than 30 seconds clear of Chichester’s James Baker.

In the women's race, debutante Jules Williams (18th) led home the Croydon challenge and was supported by Miriam De Souza (25th) and Yvonne Fernandes Bonnar (29th). The trio scooped team silver. In the u11s category, Kyra Sethna-MacIntosh (25th) and Misheel Suvd (18th) packed well over the one-mile course, as did Imran Salim (47th) and Douglas Aikman (49th). Beth Matlock was 16th in the U15 girls’ women’s race.
