Clean sweep for Kingston AC & Polytechnic at Surrey Combined Events Championships
Decathlete Loic Malroux, led home a Kingston AC & Polytechnic one, two, three at the Surrey Combined Events Championships in Carshalton on Saturday.
Frenchman Malroux scored a season’s best 6,219 to triumph ahead of 21-year-old clubmate Tom Parry, (4,790), and Kingston’s Mark Roberts (4,741) in third.
Laura Darcey was second in the U17 girls heptathlon, with Pippa Earley grabbing a silver in the U13 girls pentathlon, while star distance runner Phoebe Law romped home to the U17 girls 1,500m steeplechase crown by a whopping 49 seconds.
