Croydon Harriers brought home three bronze medals from the Holly Run cross-country races at Reigate.
Team captain Patrick Lucas led Croydon’s efforts, finishing third in the U17 men’s race, finishing the three-mile course in 17 minutes, 25 seconds.
Training partner Stevie Lawrence matched that feat in the U17 women’s race, crossing the line in 19:24.
The U15 boys also won team bronze with Omar Harhara (fifth, 18:22), Charlie Brackenborough (seventh, 18:59) and Dane Lawrence (16th, 21:41) grouping well to sneak onto the podium.
On Saturday, Andy Simms led the charge at the South of Thames 7.5 mile cross-country championships at Richmond Park, finishing 39th in a high-class field, finishing in 46:39.
Neil Aikman (83rd, 52:41), Colin Oxlade (91st, 53:41), Martin Rowe (93rd, 53:55) and Keith Brown (129th, 60:05) were the club’s other representatives in the over 200-strong field.
