Richmond currently sit top of the London Youth Games table after the borough’s boys cross country team triumphed overall at Parliament Hill Fields on Saturday.
Cassian Hyde was his team’s first athlete home in the U17s race as he came in 13th, Calvin Chapman led Richmond’s U15s home in third and Alistair Highmoor was his team’s first U13 home in 10th.
The girls could not quite match their male counterparts, but registered an impressive third place over all thanks to a second placed finish in the U17s race from Josie Savill.
Richmond’s other leading performers were Anna Uren – who came 17th in the U13s race – and Hannah Novakovic, who was sixth in the U15s.
