Wimbledon Labour Party organised a special Thank You Wimbledon stall on Saturday June 24th to express gratitude to Wimbledon voters, 18,324 of whom voted Labour in the General Election reducing the Conservative majority to under 6,000 and turning Wimbledon in to a marginal seat.
There was the usual mixture of music, leaflets and discussions with passersby, many of whom were eager to talk about the election result and enquired about joining the party.
