Joseph Hood Primary School is bringing a touch of the countryside to SW20 with an extra special Summer Fete on 1st July, featuring pony rides and farm animal petting.

Ponies will be offering children's rides, and animals from Vauxhall City Farm will be available for petting throughout the 12 to 3pm Fete.

All comers are invited to enter the ‘JoHo Bake Off’, by bringing some home baked delights to be sampled by a panel of very special guest judges.

Plenty more too to keep the whole family entertained: stalls selling homemade craft, plants and pre-loved toys; delicious international food; games and activities like ‘Beat the goalie’; a BBQ and a bar.

No worries about the British weather either – with plenty of gazebos and rain-covers there’s no need to let a spot of rain spoil the fun on the day.

And if that’s not enough temptation, you can come and relax on the ‘indoor tennis lawn’ – an astro-turfed haven for tennis fans who want to watch the games on TV, complete of course with prosecco and strawberries.
