The annual Work Match event, Employ Wandsworth 2017, took place once again last month and was another great success with over 800 local residents attending the event which had over 40 businesses actively recruiting on the day.

Hosted at the Wandsworth Civic Suite, the event included businesses working within the borough and was open to residents of all ages from all over the Wandsworth Borough.

Southside were very pleased to be at the event with General Manager, Neil Churchill, delivering the seminar ‘Working beyond retail’ which was very well received, and over 300 people visiting the Southside stand.

Southside retailers Wagamama, Debenhams and Skyler London were also at the event providing information and advice regarding their employment opportunities.

Neil Churchill said,’ The jobs fair is an excellent way to bring local people and local businesses together and support the community with local employment opportunities. This is something we are passionate about, the ongoing partnership between Work Match and Southside has helped over 15 people to find permanent employment in the last 6 months’.
