Jason Corrie, Master Trainer at Virgin Active, North Road Wimbledon has won the runner-up award in the Move Awards for best Personal Trainer in London for 2016.

MoveAwards celebrate the very best of the fitness industry and recognise the efforts providers put into making our life’s happier and healthier. The MoveAwards crown the deserved winners in a huge range of categories from best fitness instructor to best gym.

Jason was up against tough competition from established fitness organisations rather than individuals and faced tough criteria including having to demonstrate distinction in customer experience, investment in developing the fitness industry along with his core missions in achieving excellence in personal training.

Jason has been in the health and fitness industry for 14 years and has worked hard to get where he is today and has accomplished so much. Originally from Kent, Jason moved to London 16 years ago to follow his dream of becoming a fitness professional and started at Holmes Place and worked in some of the best health clubs including The Third Space, Soho and David Barton Gym, New York City.

As Master Trainer at Virgin Active, Jason is responsible for providing a unique and premium service dedicated to solving the health and fitness needs of Virgin Active members.

The judges said they had great difficulty with this category as there were so many great responses to the questions and it was very close and congratulated and thanked Jason for being such a great asset to the fitness industry.

Jason commented “I felt incredibly pleased to have been runner-up as I am doing something that I am passionate about and to win an award for it is really humbling. I’d like to thank all my loyal and dedicated clients who voted for me”
