My son Elim (who is 4 years old) had been discussing war and specifically Syria with us and got upset about all the people suffering through it.
He wanted to do something to help so we decided a sponsored walk would be manageable. On Jan 1st this year he did a 4 mile walk in Richmond Park.
He was very keen to do it and refused to sit down to rest the whole way round. He danced with joy when he finished. Whenever someone sponsors him he grins and talks about helping Syria.
