The annual Southside Christmas Wrap event will take place again this year, with all proceeds raised being donated to the Inner Southwest London Samaritans, based in Putney.
The Free Christmas gift wrapping service, which takes place at Southshide Shopping Centre each year, proves extremely popular with shoppers over the festive period.
This year’s event will take place on 10th, 17th and 18th December from 12noon until 4pm each day near New Look and Fablou. Shoppers can have up to two gifts beautifully wrapped free of charge.
As this is a charitable event donations are welcomed with all proceeds going to the Inner South West London Samaritans, one of the 201 branches throughout the UK and Ireland which respond to more than 5.4 million calls for help each year.
Neil Churchill, General Manager at Southside said "We are very pleased to be supporting the Samaritans this year, particularly as proceeds will go to our local branch. We would like to thank the retailers at Southside including Partica and Poundland who have each donated £50 to help towards the decorations and wrapping materials for the stand. It is only with their help that this event is such a success each year".
