A post-op transexual friend to the stars threw herself from a bridge days after the death of her soulmate.

Jade Sutherland, from Battersea, worked in fashion and was a friend to Kelly Osbourne and Naomi Campbell.

The 28-year-old had worked as a supermodel's assistant and had also been employed by Dior and Alexander McQueen.

Formerly Jude Bien-Aimee, she had travelled to Thailand in 2001 for a sex change operation.

A friend said she had found "happiness now she was in the correct body."

But Westminster Coroner's Court heard today she had been devastated by the death of former boyfriend and "soulmate" Andrew Richardson late last year.

When he died on December 21 of pneumonia, she had been inconsolable.

A text to a friend before Andrew died read "If I lose him, I will leave this country and die."

Another, after his death, said: "He is now gone. I am all alone. My heart is empty and my life is empty. I don't think life is worth living after losing a close one."

Miss Sutherland's body was found naked, save for a thong, by Chelsea Bridge at 8am on Christmas Eve.

Police were alerted after a pile of her clothes was spotted at Albert Bridge 90 minutes earlier.

The court heard she left a suicide note, which read: "By the time you find this, I will be miles away. Heavon or hell, who knows."

The court was told the 28-year-old was "kind and generous", and enjoyed being the centre of attention.

Her collaboration with Kelly Osbourne on Project Catwalk was due to be aired earlier this month.

Coronor Dr Paul Knapman, said: "She was an extroverted person, very much a Londoner. In and around the fashion industry, in and around Covent Garden.

"Andrew Richardson appeared to be her soulmate. He died just before Christmas. Quite clearly she was devastated by this. She told her friends life was not worth living now he was gone.

"A suicide note has been brought to my attention."

He added: "I say that she killed herself."
