Kate Moss has been depicted as notorious child-killer Myra Hindley at a painting at a London art fair.
The Croydon model was turned into the Moors murderer by artist Russell Young while her one-time lover Pete Doherty was transformed into Hindley's partner Ian Brady.
The Babyshambles frontman's face and images of the 34-year-old model's features were superimposed on the original mugshots of the two murderers.
They were then printed on canvases with alternate gold and silver sheens.
It is believed the images have been sold by the Bankrobber gallery for £28,000.
The Yorkshire-born artist said the images were the "ultimate picture, the perfect storm, a perfect combination of fame and shame".
In a statement on his website, russellyoung.com, he writes: "After spending fifteen years as a celebrity photographer and music video director, I was able to see how, and at what points that world and the underworld rub up against each other. So the idea of combining celebrities and criminals came very naturally."
