The body of a man found dead at a Sutton flat had been dismembered.

Stanley Edward John McKee, 39, was found by officers in Meteor Way, Wallington, after they responded to reports a man had fallen from a building on Friday.

Mr McKee, of Green Lane, Hounslow, had been missing for about a fortnight. His death is being treated as murder.

The semi-naked man who fell from the second floor window at around 2.30pm on Friday has been named as 53-year-old Stavros Riakiotakis.

He was pronounced dead at the scene about 3pm on Friday.

An eyewitness said Mr Riakiotakis was only wearing boxer shorts and had deep slashes to his wrists.

"A couple came running up to me and asked if I could fetch a blanket. He was still alive, but died while I was there. It was quite chilling," the eyewitness said.

Postmortems carried out at St Helier Hospital, Carshalton, revealed Mr McKee died from multiple stab wounds. Mr Riakiotakis' injuries were consistent with a fall.

Inquests are expected to open and adjourn at Croydon Coroner's Court this week.

Police are appealing for anyone who had seen or spoken to either men in the past fortnight to contact them on 020 8721 4961 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
