A female postie obsessed with Chiswick's Colin Firth has been arrested.
The 45-year-old was arrested after she pleaded with her bosses to let her deliver to the star's home.
The obsessive is also thought to have posted false stories of meetings with the 46-year-old actor on an internet site for Firth fans.
It is believed the woman's colleagues raised the alarm after they discovered she was hoping to swap delivery routes to allow her to deliver to Firth's £2.5million home.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: "We can confirm a 45-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday August 23rd in connection with harassment of a man in Chiswick. She was later cautioned for the offence and released."
Colin Firth, who lives with his 37-year-old wife Livia, sent hearts racing while playing Mr Darcy in the BBC adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
He also played Mark Darcy in chick flick Bridget Jones's Diary.
