Despite rising temperatures across London and the south east this morning, forecasters are still warning of the possibility of more snow.

The Met Office says snow could reappear from around midday in Surrey and Greater London, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 1C.

"Some sleet or snow over parts of Kent at first," said a Met Office forecaster.

"Later in the day, snow flurries may develop over some other parts of the region."

However, he said some heavier snowfall could develop into the evening, with a minimum temperature of -2C.

And a further warning was issued for tomorrow, with snowfall expected in the morning, although it could be followed by some afternoon sunshine.
