A Wimbledon entrepreneur will be doing the business for deserving children when he hosts a charity fun day later this month.
Paul Strank, the founder of Wimbledon construction company Paul Strank and Sons Roofing, will throw the party to raise cash for Children in Need.
The event, to be held on June 27 at the company’s Weir Road headquarters, will feature shows, rides and refreshments.
Special guests set to appear include actors from television series The Bill, players from AFC Wimbledon and the Mayor of Merton.
Mr Strank said: "I don't do things by halves and I want to make this a day to remember and a real deal, money wise, for Children in Need. I have some more invites to send out and I hope to get a real national hero to the event.”
For more information about the fun day call Colin Finch on 020 8944 6010.
