A fundraising drive got off to a sticky start this week after only £60 was raised.
Martin Torres, the manager of the Travelodge hotel in Morden, sat in a bathtub filled with pink custard as part of a money-raising effort for cancer research.
Mr Torres, who also wore a Mr Bean mask, said: “We’ve done this in previous years and raised over £500, but this year we only managed £60.
“It was loads of fun and great to bring the team together but, yeah, it was a bit disappointing.”
