The family of a missing Cambridge graduate are appealing for help after he disappeared from Mitcham on Thursday.

Harry Ogg, 21, disappeared on Thursday after visiting his parents in Mitcham.

Mr Ogg, a pianist who graduated from Cambridge in June, was last known to have arrived at Wimbledon station at 9.20pm on Thursday evening (October 11) using his Oyster.

A facebook site to help find him has already attracted more than 14,000 members.
Yesterday morning his brother, Tom Ogg, posted a message appealing for his brother to come home.

Writing on the Facebook group ‘Missing - Harry Ogg’, he said: "Harry is very unwell, and my family and I are concerned that he will hurt himself.

"He is very down.

"He ran off after seeing a doctor about his current state.

"Needless to say we are very concerned about him.

"We suspect (hope) he may be staying with a friend who we don't know - so please, could you all add Harry's friends and anyone else who might know Harry, so that it gets around that Harry is missing, please?"

Mr Ogg was last seen wearing a navy-blue duffle coat and blue jeans, glasses and pointy brown shoes.

During his time at Cambridge the music student won the University Musical Society's conducting competition two years in a row and had recently led the University Chamber Orchestra on a tour to Bordeaux.

Tom Ogg added: "Harry is a star of the musical community and people are very affectionate toward him.

"He is a big part of that community and that’s one reason why so many people have joined.

"A lot people are concerned and lot of people care."
