Cancer coffee morning raises hundreds for charity

The Wimbledon Cancer Friendship group raised £680 by hosting a Macmillan ‘Worlds’ Biggest Coffee Morning’ event.

The event was one of thousands of coffee mornings which took place on Friday, September 28, to raise money for the charity.

All money raised will go towards funding a Macmillan Family Nurse for Merton residents.

The group meets every Thursday from 3.15 to 4pm at the Wimbledon Guild, Guild House in Worple Road, except the second Thursday of each month when they meet from 7.30 to 9pm. 

Anyone is welcome to attend these informal sessions for support and friendship.
