Police hunt would-be burglars after break in
Police are appealing for help in tracing two would-be burglars who broke into a home before fleeing over a back fence without taking anything.
A rear wooden door at a property in Caxton Road, Wimbledon, was forced open and a search carried out on October 2, but no items were believed to have been taken.
Two black men were seen jumping over a back fence and getting into a silver BMW saloon before driving off in the direction of Haydons Road at about 1am.
The men were described as black, aged 17 to 26, one bald and of stocky build, the other skinny with dreadlocks.
