Two men face jail after a 19-year-old woman was attacked twice on Sutton High Street.

The woman was attacked as she walked home with girlfriends after a night out on October 29, 2011.

Both of the attacks were unprovoked – the first taking place outside Thomas Cook travel agents and the second outside Kebab Planet between 3-4am.

The woman was punched a number of times in the face, left with serious fractures to her jaw, a split lip and broken teeth. She is currently waiting to have a third operation and suffers numbness to her bottom lip and now talks with a lisp.

At Croydon Crown Court on May 8, Daniel Bicknell, 20, of Lancaster Avenue, Mitcham, pleaded guilty to actual bodily harm (ABH) outside Thomas Cook.

On September 25, George Williams, 19, of Yorkshire Road, Mitcham, pleaded guilty to ABH outside Thomas Cook but not guilty to grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent outside Kebab Planet.

After a trial last week, Williams’ was found guilty of GBH with intent.

Bicknell and Williams, who were both granted bail with conditions, are due to be sentenced at Croydon Crown Court, the week commencing October 29, 2012.

Both men, who are 6ft tall, had been drinking heavily in Revolution night club earlier that evening. Williams told police he had drunk about ten doubles of Jack Daniels whisky.
