An O2 sales assistant is being sought by police after £150k worth of brand new iPhone 5s were stolen from an O2 store in Colliers Wood.

The shop had taken delivery of 252 of the new phones which were due to go on sale at 9am today but they were pinched at approximately 1.30am this morning.

A quantity of cash was also stolen from the safe.

The man police are looking for is Usman Sethi, 23, from Ilford, in Essex, who is a sales assistant at the shop.

He is an Asian man, 6'1" in height and a Pakistani national – and is thought to drive a grey Ford Mondeo.

Police also wish to speak with Mr Sethi in connection with the theft of jewellery belonging to a family member from his home address in Audley Gardens, also on Friday morning.
