Hundreds of residents turned out to support an event protesting against the closure of key services at St Helier Hospital.
The community day opposite St Helier Hospital was a chance for residents to show their opposition to NHS proposals to close the hospital's accident and emergency, maternity departments and children's ward.
A selection of speakers spoke about the importance of maintaining the key services, that if approved by the Government could be axed by 2016-17.
The number of signatures on various petitions against the cuts were also presented to representatives from NHS SW London's Better Services, Better Value review, who have proposed the closures.
A three month consultation on the plans is due to begin on October 1.
