An online nappy business has earned a Raynes Park mum a place in the final line-up of the Mumpreneur Awards.
Mum-of-three Wendy Richards runs The Nappy Lady, a website focusing on promoting and selling cloth nappies and green baby products.
Wendy is shortlisted for the best green business award, open to businesses providing eco- friendly or ethical products and services.
She said: “I am delighted to have been recognised for my achievements in promoting green alternatives for parents and carers worldwide, and I’m really excited to find out if I’ve won the award.”
The awards is an annual ceremony aimed at celebrating parents who manage the difficult task of juggling business with family life.
Mrs Richards is also in with a chance of winning the Inspirational Business Mum 2012 title, to be awarded to the mum who is an inspiration to all women in business.
Mrs Richards has to wait until September 30 when the winners will be announced at the Mumpreneur Conference in Warwickshire.
Included in the judging panel is Glamour Magazine’s editor-in-chief, Jo Elvin.
