Military servicemen and women, past and present, were honoured this week with the dedication of a new memorial.
Merton Council held a service for the new memorial outside the civic centre, in Morden, on June 30 as part of Armed Forces Day.
A parade then passed along London Road in Morden to St Lawrence’s Church in St Helier where a multi-faith service was held.
Members of the Royal British Legion, Army Cadets from Wimbledon College, Air Training Corps, the Scouts, Police Cadets, Territorial Army, the City of London Fusiliers, and other organisations were all present.
