A pub has been fined more than £4,000 after noise complaints by residents.
The Burn Bullock pub in London Road, Mitcham, was found guilty of breaching a "noise abatement notice" from Merton Council at Wimbledon Magistrates court last month.
The council said they had received more than 20 complaints about the premises.
Councillor Andrew Judge, cabinet member for environmental sustainability and regeneration, said: "We always want businesses to respect their neighbours particularly when based in a residential area.
"Our environmental health officers do their best to ensure that noise levels don’t cause a disturbance and that the pubs operate within the law."
