Drama students simulated the dangers of crossing the road without paying attention while filming a road safety video in Morden on Saturday.
Actors from Ricards Lodge High School joined drama students at Bishopsford Arts College to make the film on the grounds of the Morden school.
Once finished, students across the borough will be able to watch the film on YouTube. It highlights the dangers of crossing the road while on a mobile phone, listening to an iPod or with a group of friends.
Merton Council road safety officer, Charmaine Jacques, said: ”Every day a teenager dies on London’s roads. Young people might think they’re invincible but it’s important they’re aware of how dangerous the roads can be.”

Our company B3 Creative produced it and it was great to work with the local teenagers on this. Thanks Merton!
