A father and son cycled the Northern Spain Pilgrim's Trail for Wateraid this Easter.
Jack Hickman, 13, who attends King's College Wimbledon, and his dad Edward rode the 300km trail from Leon to the north western city of Santiago de Compostela.
Jack said: “There were moments when I wondered if we were going to make it, but knowing that so many of our friends had sponsored us for Wateraid kept us going.”
The pair arrived on Good Friday to witness the traditional Easter processions. The five day journey, with two other riders, involved climbing to altitudes of 1,600 metres, battling blizzards and strong winds.
But the pair met walkers, cyclists and even hermits and a Knight Templar along the way. Together they raised £600 in sponsorship.
