South Wimbledon charity to help those with mental health problems get a job

Job hunters with mental health problems will get a helping hand thanks to a new charity.

The service, Leap Forward Employment, opened in South Wimbledon on Thursday night with a launch event featuring politicians, councillors and health workers.

Founder Doug Goldsack said: “This is a much needed service within Merton and we look forward to working with our partners to assist clients over the coming months.”

He said the charity would offer help in everything from building skills and confidence to polishing up CVs for job hunters across the borough.
