St Mark’s Academy science lesson goes with a bang

A TV star has give pupils in Mitcham a science lesson with a difference.
Presenter Jason Bradbury, star of Channel Five’s The Gadget Show, visited St Mark’s Academy on Friday to share his passion for all things robotic. About 200 children enjoyed demonstrations showing the wilder side of science.
Teacher Olivia Douse said: “It was interactive and the kids really enjoyed it - they absolutely loved it.”
Bradbury, who was once part of a comedy double act with David Walliams, also signed copies of his book when he visited the Acacia Road school - which specialises in teaching science and the performing arts.
He was watched by children aged 11 to 13.
