A care home managed to raise over £1,600 for Cancer Research with its summer fair.
Fieldway Nursing and Residential Centre in Turnway Path managed to take £832.45 at its summer fair which was then doubled to £1,670.90 by BUPA.
The event was attended by close to 100 people and opened by the Pearly King of Peckham.
Event organiser, Tony Easey, said: “The summer fair was a huge success and we hope to launch further fundraising schemes for cancer research in the near future.”
