Vandals caused £20,000 worth of damage after reversing a 4x4 into a shop and stealing its cash machine in the early hours of Monday morning.
Police said four white men drove a red Nissan Patrol into the Co-Op store in Grand Drive at approximately 2.20am and tied the cash machine located near the store’s entrance on to the back of the vehicle.
Officers said as the men drove away, the rope snapped and the cash machine fell off the back of the car on to the nearby roundabout.
No arrests have been made.
