The annual Merton Abbey Primary School summer fair on was a “huge success.”

That according to chairwoman of the 'friends of Merton Abbey School', Melissa Murrill.

"The summer fair is always a real hit with the children and this year was no different.

"It is brilliant for bringing families together and lovely to see everyone enjoying the beautiful weather.”

From a 45ft inflatable obstacle course to fire engine for kids to sit in, it was fair to say that headteacher, Michael Bradley was pleased with how the event turned out.

“It’s an occasion for the whole community to come together and it’s great to see so many children and their families here enjoying themselves, and raising valuable funds for the school in the process,"

Thank you to friends and to the generous staff, parents and carers of our community for all their help; it made it a fantastic day.”
