Merton Police are appealing for information following the disappearance of a teenager.

The police took to social media this afternoon to share the news that 14-year-old Brianna Anderson had gone missing.

Brianna was last seen in the area of Mitcham, although there is no information about where she may have gone to.

Anyone who may know of Brianna's whereabouts is urged to call police on 101.
