The Merton Chamber of Commerce have appointed a new chairman.
John Merriman, who works as the director of Crown Lane Productions in Morden will take over from Victoria Nicol, whose business has moved to Northern Ireland and Central London.
John has been a board director for three years and was a driving force behind Merton’s recent success in securing funding for “Film Merton 2019.”
"I am honoured to have been elected chair, and look forward to the new role," Mr Merriman said.
"I'll continue to enjoy getting to know the individuals and backstories behind the businesses in Merton; seeing where excellence thrives and helping to retain and steer the chamber's essential and relevant voice.
"How we do business has changed enormously since I started my business a decade ago, and I am pleased to be a part of a chamber that evolves fast; delivers excellent training and networking while listening and responding to the needs of its members."
