Four people have appeared in court, charged with allegedly carrying out a string of burglaries and thefts in Coulsdon, Caterham and Warlingham.

Kane Arthur Corby, 19, of Potterne Close, Putney Village, Jason Leonard Raddon, 38, of St Hellier Avenue, Morden, Jack Patrick Scott, 18, of The Beeches, London and a 15-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons all appeared in all appeared at Staines Magistrates Court on March 23.

The offences to which the four were charged occurred in Westlands Way and Gordons Way, Oxted onFebruary 27, Alexander Walk, Caterham and Searchwood Road, Cloverly Avenue, Westhall Road all in Warlingham on March 2, Tupwood Lane, Caterham night of March 9, Placehouse Lane, Coulsdon on March 16 and Tydcombe Road, Warlingham on March 20.

All four were released with strict bail conditions including electronic tagging and will appear at Guildford Crown Court on April 27.

Detective Inspector Paul Gordon said: “We have a dedicated resource to crackdown on burglaries in the east of Surrey and will continue to do what we can to bring offenders to justice.

“We know just how intrusive and invasive it is to be the victim of a burglary and are working extremely hard to reduce the impact it is having in our county.
