A Raynes Park care home specialising in nursing and dementia care has been awarded ‘Good’ rating by CQC following a recent inspection.
Link House was rated ‘Good’ in five categories, safety, effective, care, responsiveness and leadership.
In the report, which was published this month inspectors commented on the robust measures in place at Link House to safeguard its residents and staff’s commitment in providing personalised care to each resident.
In the report it highlighted that ‘staff looked after people in a way which was kind and caring’.
Care Home Manager, Cristina Capper was delighted by the ‘Good’ rating and said: “We are pleased with the recent rating from the CQC.
“In the last few years, we’ve taken steps to ensure our residents receive the best care and are afforded dignity and the dignity they deserve.
“It is wonderful to see that our work has been acknowledged by the CQC.”
Link’s House houses up to 52 residents across a three storey building. It was rated ‘requires improvement’ overall in September 2016 with inspectors undertaking a follow up inspection in February 2017 with the service making the necessary improvements.
In the report, People of the care home said: “Link House was homely and comfortable place to live, bedrooms were personalised and the building was well-maintained.”
Link House part of C&C Housing Trust is a not-for-profit housing provider offering sheltered and care accommodations across London.
