Severe delays on District Line after someone goes onto tracks
There are severe delays on the District Line due to a trespasser on the track earlier at Aldgate East.
Tickets are being accepted on buses and South Western Railway.
Commuters are furious, with one describing the situation as a “flaming nightmare”.
Another said: “Whoever that was trespassing on the District Line, I hope your hairline recedes faster than your granddad's hairline.”
The District Line tweeted that tickets are being accepted on local buses, South Western Railway, Greater Anglia and C2C “although these services are disrupted due to overhead line problems”.
