A man was rushed to hospital by air ambulance after becoming unwell in Durnsford Road, Wimbledon yesterday morning.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.40am (16 January) to reports of person unwell in Durnsford Road, Wimbledon.
“We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and incident response officer to the scene.
“We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. The first paramedic arrived at the scene in five minutes.
“We treated a man at the scene and took him by road to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
