Pupils from a school in Wimbledon have raised funds to bring Christmas cheer to residents of two local care homes.
The pupils in Year 7 from Rutlish School performed a series of plays, created personalised Christmas cards and took part in a carol service for residents at Kew House Care home.
Cassandra Dawkins, head of performing arts at Rutlish School said: “The boys love to take part as they feel it makes a real difference to the lives of the elderly at Christmas.
“Every year the students of Rutlish School raise money to purchase Christmas gifts for the residents of Kew Care Home in Wimbledon.
“This year a selection of students also performed an abridged version of The 39 Steps and designed a variety of stunning Christmas cards for the residents. We look forward to visiting again next year.”
