A signal failure at East Croydon Station is causing delays on Southern trains this morning.

Disruption is expected to last until 9am.

Southern services between London Victoria and London Bridge will be impacted as well as trains in Brighton, Caterham, East Croydon, Uckfield and Chichester.

Engineers are now working on the signalling fault.

A National Rail statement read: "Although all lines running through the station are open we are working closely with Network Rail to divert services around the fault.

"As a result platform alterations are expected in the busy morning peak and we are expecting an impact on services running through the station to be minimal."
