Mahmood has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Hassan Ettakkal
A Mitcham man has admitted killing a homeless man and setting fire to a car.
Adil Mahmood, 37, pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of 54-year-old Hassan Ettakkal, who was found dead in a car park in Ilford, east London, on May 29.
He also admitted arson on the same date, during a brief hearing at the Old Bailey.
Mr Mahmood, of London Road, was remanded in custody until his sentencing on January 8.
